C's visit Toronto

C's are coming off kicking the Rockets back to Houston after a dominant game. From my standpoint the Jays showed Ime what he let slip away. All five starters balled and left the Rockets with no gas. I wonder if Ime looked across the way and said man did I mess things up. Tonight the C's are visiting the new look Raptors after their in season trade. I expect a win and nothing less tonight.

Quarter #1 🏀

KP opens up the scoring with a nice three ball! KP with the D as he swats out the shot by the Raptors center. KP is bothering a lot of the Raptors shots early on. Defensively he's been a lot better than I expected. He knows how to use his length and is very effective. C's need to work on their spacing tonight. They need to attack the paint tonight, given the Raptors don't have much size out there. Jrue Holiday has been very aggressive early on tonight. C's are starting to click on offense. As DWhite finds himself for a nothing but net three. Its nice when he hits that first shot, tells me he's going to have a good game tonight. So far the Raptors are holding their own. C's turn to the zone and force a bad shot from Siakim. This Celtics ball movement is looking elite! The ball touches JT to KP and Luke finished it off. Good timeout by Joe as the C's were very lax on that last offensive set. DWhite hits his second three of the night. C's lead after the first twelve.

Quarter #2 🍀🍀

Al off the catch hits a bullseye three! Al is killing it on the glass and follows it up with a lefty hook! We are going to get an early dose of Oshie Brissett. DWhite with two more threes, giving him a total of four tonight. Love to see him find his stroke yet again. He had a bit of a lull, but seems to be back to his normal sweet shooting self. Let's say this Als D this season has been elite. Tonight is no different! Al is gobbling up boards like that old game hungry hippo! C's only have a slim lead and that's making me a bit nervous. It would be really nice to finish this half on a run. JT is quietly having a very nice and efficient shooting game. They must finish this quarter strong, Coach Joe says games can be won and lost at the end of quarters. JT just straight made RJ Barrett look silly. He went into his bag of tricks, and Barrett had no answer. C's lead at the half.

Quarter #3 ☘️☘️☘️

It would be nice if the C's have a big third quarter tonight. They have allowed these Raptors to hang around, but let's make them extinct. The key is defensively, lock them down and force em into poor shots. Then get out in transition and score, score, score! So for both Quickly and Barrett have played well. Shut them down and call it a night. Not the start I was expecting, as the Raptors have just about walked down this lead. Need to see the ball hit JT and let him get going here in the third. JT has taken over and is living at the rim. He's going to have to lead by example and carry this team home. C's played elite D to close out the third and now will close this out with a nine point lead.

Quarter #4 🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's on both ends a little slow to start, need to amp things up here. DWhite is becoming Mr 4th Quarter and nailing some big shots. He's got everything in him to be an ice in the veins, steal your lunch, clutch player. I guarantee he will win a game or two for the C's in the playoffs. Game isn't over as the Raptors keep clawing back. I need JT to get into the paint and do what he did in the third. Drive and bring the hammer to the rim! Jrue Holiday has been hot tonight! DWhite with the DAGGER! The three from the corner should seal this game. Celtics Win!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

Let us all remember the great Dr Martin Luther King Jr today.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
