C's look to Payback the Wolves

After a difficult loss in Indiana the C's look to bounce back against the Wolves. Let's hope the refs don't screw us yet again...

1st Q 🏀

C's will have to focus their defense on Edwards because he killed them last game. We have no KP but Al is here to save the day. C's need to push the pace tonight. I expect JT and JB to be on point tonight. Here we are and the game is up on us! These Wolves uniforms are not very appealing. Jrue takes on the challenge of guarding Edwards. Jrue may not play with a lot flash, but he's smooth like a good whiskey. JT opens us up with a pure three pointer! JB hits a three and so far the Jays are on point. If we had JT vs the Pacers Monday we win that game going away. I'm just saying! Are we looking at a finals preview?!? I wouldn't mind at all if these are the two teams in June. C's D has been pretty good so far. It's going to have to be this kind of effort all night. Wolves have clawed their way back and the game is tight. Joes been riding these two big men sets lately and I like it. Al Horford when he starts really steps up, reminds me of a young Al Horford. C's need to sure up their rebounding. When the C's struggle on the boards its extremely annoying to me. JB has been spectacular so far, he's lit that fire and it's burning bright. C's lead after the first. The lead should be bigger through.

2nd Q 🍀🏀

The defense needs to set the tone here in the second. Put the screws to em and lock em down! When the C's move the ball it's almost unstoppable, it was clearly evident on that play. Luke got the easy basket, off that ball movement. I love when the C's run in transition, like Tommy always said RUN! Kudos to Luke early on tonight making plays on both ends of the floor. When called upon Luke usually steps up. These lapses on D and securing the boards can't continue. It's the little things that matter in the game. Come on guys! C's really need to tighten up and add to this lead. They just can't seem to run away from these Wolves. Time for JT to finish this half with a flurry of points. Not to pleased with how the C's finished that half.

3rd Q 🍀🏀☘️

It's nut crunching time for the C's. These third quarters have killed them, we need a big one here tonight. The game is all tied up right now. C's are starting to annoy me. This game is way too tight and I'm getting nervous. C's have a slim lead as this heavy weight fight goes back and forth. We have a stoppage in play and my hope is after that the C's will go off! I'll I want is like a 7-0 run. Tonight Anthony Edwards is killing us like he did in Minnesota early this season. C's need to play some of their best basketball here. JB finds DWhite for a beautiful nothing but net three! These refs sometimes make very questionable calls. They allow for no physicality at all. These calls always seem to go against the C's. C's trail...

4th Q 🍀🏀☘️🏀

C's need to have an incredible fourth to win this game. Thankfully Sam is nailing his shots. So sick of seeing the Wolves hitting these threes. Put your freaking hand up and play D. C's are trailing but are still fighting. Frustrating game for me to watch personally. A game in which I expected something more just isn't happening. They better not play this way tomorrow night. Tonight's been frustrating to watch honestly. In an unexpected wave the C's have come back and taken the lead. DWhite with the BIGGEST rebound of the year! The ball finds Jrue for THREE! Now it's time to play D! We are heading to overtime...

OT 🍀🏀☘️🏀🍀

What a back and forth overtime we have here. It's like a heavyweight fight, punches are being landed on both ends! If this is a finals preview I'm all for it! Every key Celtic in this overtime has made winning plays! For a game that really frustrated me personally the Celtics kept grinding and did what great teams do and that's win! Tatum and Brown have been pretty damn impressive all night. Jrue and Derrick have been solid as a rock and Al has been the glue keeping it all together.

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
