Raptors Invade the Garden

Celtics welcome the Raptors into the Boston Garden. The Celtics will be without JT, Al, and KP. Yet there is nothing to fear we still have DWhite, Jrue and JB!

☘️ 1st Q 🏀

Luuuuuuuke! Blocks the first shot of the game. Sam Hauser with the first points of the game for the C's! Sam and Luke thrust into the starting lineup and making an early impact. Nice to have JB back, expect him to have a big game tonight! C's UP! I like what I'm seeing on both ends of the floor right now! Holiday, Brown and White hitting their stride early. Expect this big three, to lead the charge tonight. Celtics ball movement has been tight tonight! Cs are using the entire bench tonight. Love the way the C's are pushing the pace! JB is a man amongst boys! Straight destroying the Raptors D. I love Queta! He continues to work hard and make plays. When you have a team like this you will remember each and every guy who played. Especially if this group wins a ring.

🍀🍀 2nd Q 🏀🏀

C's can only continue to trend upwards after that first quarter. I love how JB just let the game come to him and we went off! If the C's can continue to push this pace they should be able to run the Raptors into extinction! C's are up by twenty, keep it going! Joe with a timeout as the lead has been cut to fifteen. That's what a good Coach does! SAM I AM WITH A HUGE BLOCK! JB looks smooth as butter out there. Raptors are pushing back and cut this lead to ten. Great job by the C's pushing back! You have to be impressed by how well the C's have played in the first half. C's with the lead!

☘️☘️☘️ 3rd Q 🏀🏀🏀

C's are a bit flat to start the third... Jrue says hold my beer as he nails a three! Jrue out here balling in the third! Derrick White has such great instincts out there. He just has a nose for the ball! What I truly love about the make up of this team is in crunch time you know who is gonna be out there. Not like it was last season... Plus each of the top five is a guy you want to have the ball in their hands. Unlike last year... I'm beyond excited for the playoffs because I want to see these five execute in crunch time. I have a good feeling about this team. I completed my dream of getting to shoot on the parquet. Now onto the next dream, of getting to see Banner 18 won! Derrick White is a guy all youth basketball players should watch. C's lead after three...

🍀🍀🍀🍀 4th Q 🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's are three happy right now, they need to settle things down. Need to see DWhite and Jrue run things right now. Raptors are charging all the way back right now. Someone needs to start making some plays. Some how the Raptors have come all the way back and have a lead. C's need to show up and pull this one out. DWHITE FOR THREEEEEEEEE!!! DWhite is Mr Clutch tonight for the C's! Big play after Big play! C's lead by two... Raptors with the ball. Celtics WIN!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
