Pacers C's, IST

Well here we are playing tonight as the in season tournament marches on. To be honest, it don't matter to me if we lose. The only reason I want the win, is because this counts towards our regular season. My prediction is this, the in season tournament is here to give either LA or NY a "title". Similar to how the bubble was set up for that Disney ending.

1st Q 🏀

C's seem a little flat... This Pacers team loves to run. Celtics start their scoring with a huge JT JAM! JB hits his patented jumper, expect both Jays to play large tonight. C's are extremely cold as of now. JB gets in the paint and rocks the rim with a LOUD DUNK! C's still haven't found a rhythm on offense. This game feels like a title fight for Indy. To be honest they may not even make the playoffs. Sam I am enters and brings the rain for three! DWhite out hustling everyone! I love him! C's are a little turnover prone tonight. Despite an early rush by Indy the C's fight back and grab a two point lead. JT needs to pick things up. He's off to a slower start tonight. Expect him to pick it up. C's lead after one...

2nd Q 🏀🏀

Jrue Holiday out here doing it on both ends. Makes a great defensive play and then scores on the other end. Love the way Jrue plays! The Pacers court and uniforms are U G L Y! Oh my word... Banton to Kornet for the one handed alley oop! That literally shook the stadium. Pritchard finds Kornet for another lob baby! This is the Luke Kornet game! Luke is doing everything out there, he's a defensive maestro! Sam is feeling it tonight! His shot is pure beauty. DWhite came to ball tonight! I love every aspect of his game. He just never forces anything, he's the unassuming star of this team. JT just straight took advantage of Haliburton. JT just nailed a deeeeeeeeeep three! Jrue Holiday just dooped Brown into the charge. C's up by seven. It could be more...

3rd Q 🏀🏀🏀

This Indy court looks terrible, like some small children just colored all over the place to come up with these color combos. Love seeing JB take Turner to the cup. He's such an underachiever... JB! Gets the defender off his feet and scores! Time to cash in that and one, and he clanged the free throw. It's time for the Jays to attack attack attack! We need to own the paint as we did in the first half. JT for three! Followed up by DWhite for three! Bing Bang Boom! C's three point shooting kinda stinks tonight. This third quarter sucks, and the C's can't hit a freaking shot.

4th Q 🏀🏀🏀🏀

C's may not have it tonight... They trail the Pacers as the game is getting tighter. C's need to buckle down on D now if they want a shot. Through grit and fight the C's have tied it up. JB and JT are starting to cook! I think the C's may lose tonight... It's nip and tuck right now. I'm glad the C's lost. This in season tournament is just straight trash. We have actual championship aspirations while Indiana will never win an NBA title.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
