Magic Celtics Part Deux

Celtics vs Magic... I was lucky enough to see the Celtics game on Friday. I was even happier to get on to the parquet and get some shots up. I tell you it was a dream come true. Every Celtic fan should get the chance on the parquet. Despite being short handed the Celtics rolled over the Magic. Pritchard and Hauser looked very efficient from deep! The Jays did their thing and Derrick White was impressive. Jrue Holiday was nice to see in person too. I fully expect to see us roll them again!

First Quarter ☘️

Looking for a fast start today, JB needs to light that match! C's are a bit slow out of the gate. C's need to amp up their Defense. If they don't the Magic will blow them out of the water. They have absolutely no flow right now. Jrue Holiday has been solid, doing a little bit of everything out there. He and Derrick are both jack of all trades type players. JB hitting that fall away is a staple to his game. That's pretty much an automatic bucket. Both he and JT have shots that are almost unstoppable. C's will need to match the Magics intensity if they want a chance to come back and win this one. C's trail after one... 🏀

Second Quarter 🍀🍀

JT straight dogging Cole Anthony, and gets hit by Wagner. Neither one of you can guard JT! C's shots aren't falling as they should, but they are right there. JT has eleven early on and I bet he has a big game the rest of the way. Orlando has no one who can guard him. He showed that on Friday and will continue to show it today. Joe uses and wins his coaches challenge! PP just made Wagner look SILLY! Nails the THREE in his face! Jrue Holiday Special for three as well! C's need to push this lead and break the Magics spirit. JB has learned the art of passing the rock. He's becoming an even more all around player. C's are allowing the Magic back into the game. I don't like it at all... Derrick White for three, he has become my favorite player. C's lead despite the slow start. 🏀🏀

Third Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

I want to see the C's ball out this quarter. Don't allow Orlando to get back into the game. Not the start I wanted to see from the guys in Green and White. Good timeout by Joe, C's need to refocus and come out ready to roll. If they do come out and go on a run, I believe the Magic will fold. They want to get back home to warmer weather conditions. Shots that were falling on Friday aren't today. C's just can't hit much in this third. The lead is down to five. KP with the HUGE follow up dunk off the missed three! Gotta love that play right there! Let's Go Celtics! What a steal by Jrue on Banchero! That's why he was brought in! C's still can't seem to run away with this one just yet. JT hits a three and we have a double digit lead! I love the way Queta is out there working! Kids got something in him, I expect him to continue to grow and get better. C's lead after three... 🏀🏀🏀

Fourth Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Need to finish this home stand off with a win. As we head out west for a lengthy road trip. What makes me sick is we have to play on Christmas Day in LA, I guarantee we get bad calls against us. I was hoping for a Leflop free Christmas. Thanks NBA for ruining that for me. I can't wait for him to retire and stop ruining basketball for me. Back to the C's JB with a sweat as apple pie three from deep! Nothing but NET! Just like the one I hit my first time ever shooting on the world famous parquet. C's are ROLLING! I'm telling you this is a different team. Last season Cleveland and Orlando owned us, this year it's payback! Celtics with another good win! 🏀🏀🏀🏀

As I sit here and think about Friday, I'm very thankful. I was able to watch my girls on the court, and our family took a picture on the logo. It's the little things in life that add up. Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
