Friday Night Lights

We are finally back to playing normal basketball, with no gimmicks attached. NBA has exactly what they want, Leflop and the Fakers and in the final, Indiana doesn't even matter. That's the NBA speaking not me. Empty seats during both games last night. Not the turnout the NBA was looking at.

1st Quarter ☘️

C's looking to attack the paint already. Letting Jrue post up at the start. KP is ready from the start! With a jam and a three! He's clearly healthy and happy to be back in Boston. KP out here looking to show the Knicks this is why you drafted me. Celtics ball movement is tight from the go. It went around the horn and found DWhite for a nothing but net three! When the C's are moving the ball like this, they are very difficult to guard. The key tonight is BOXING OUT, for some reason this Knicks team gives us fits on the glass. JT finds JB off the quick cut behind the line, swishes the three! C's are en fuego right now. Up early and Tatum hasn't even gotten himself going yet. NBA players don't follow their shots anymore and that's sad. Brown has the wide open look, and if he had followed it we would have gained an extra possession. I was always taught to follow my shot, and I could shoot. C's yet again are allowing the inferior Knicks to stay in the game. Just go out there and light this bunch of over achievers up. C's lead by one... Not happy! It should be a lot more!

2nd Quarter 🏀🏀

We need to see a Tatum explosion in this second. He's been way too quiet tonight. Jrue Holiday looks like a magician tonight! My goodness does Scal want the C's to win? Complaining about the C's getting calls, cmon MAN! JT for three! It only takes a few for him to get going. I personally dislike this entire Knicks roster. They over achieve every time they play the C's. They also tend to over achieve any time they win a game! This entire Knicks teams flops regularly. Just like Brunson just did. All these calls are soft as margarine. Jrue finds DWhite for a beautiful three pointer. KP still out here ballin! He's got beef with the Knicks and he's showing the best way possible. By whooping their butts, and playing like an All Star. Man these officials have been one sided on behalf of the Knicks. Absolute garbage! It's BOGUS! How can the NBA call themselves a league when their refs are carrying out an agenda. It's always against the C's. Whether it be the Knicks, Sixers, or Lakers. The NBA is crooked! Just ask the Pacers after tomorrow nights game in Vegas. JT put here dropping dimes to Al in the painted area! C's lead at the half! Still not by enough for my liking.

3rd Quarter ☘️🍀☘️

Will the C's actually have a good third?! They damn well better! Everytime a Celtic misses a three, I just envision them getting the deuce instead. Imagine how many more points this team would score?! Scal asks the question what's going on in NY? I DON'T CARE Scal, I only care about the Celtics. What a difference Porzingis makes when he's healthy. DWhite gets into the paint as it looked like the Red Sea parted! DWhite is owning the Knicks right now. Love everything about him on the floor. C's are making that extra pass tonight! Gotta love it! C's are finally rolling! Finish them off now! C's lead by what I expect! Double digits!

4th Quarter 🏀🏀🏀🏀

Time for the C's to close this game out. JB just made Hartenstein look foolish! JB elevates and still scores! JB is just TOO STRONG! Great block by Hauser! Love it when he gives it his all on D! He's not the most gifted athlete but he's all heart. JB should be able to get inside the painted area Everytime Grimes is guarding him. JB gets booted because these refs are soft. C's need to wake up! DWhite comes up big with the drive and score! C's are inching closer to victory. It's turned into a dog fight. The C's finally put the Knicks to bed! Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
