Clash of the Titans

Talk about an appetizer, that will lead us to Thanksgiving dinner. Bucks vs Celtics! Giannis Vs Tatum! Lillard vs Holiday! This is the premiere matchup of the season up to this date. Both teams are amongst the favorites to win the NBA title. Tonight has all the makings of a classic.

 1st Quarter ☘️

JB starts off the game with a JAM! Blew by Giannis and brought the one handed hammer! C's with spectacular ball movement and JB Nails the Three! JT gets in on the action and scores! JB for ANOTHER THREE! BING BANG BOOM! Anyone else love the Zenni commercials with Sam Cassell? I do! JT is straight abusing Kris Middleton. Need to take advantage of that matchup all night. The Greek is here to play, better be ready for his best shot. Derrick White has two threes already! He loves the big moments. C's have a decent lead to this point. C's lead and I have no complaints.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Al Horford is balling! Three for the Jedi Master of the C's. Sam I am is on! Find that man he's making up for last game. JT is getting to the hoop with ease! Ain't no one who can guard him! He's making Middleton look like he's cooked! PP is hot! JT hits the THREE! AL Horford turns back the clock and posts up Portis. Boom baby! PP from Western Mass with the three! Up by twenty! Let's Go! C's are hitting on all cylinders so far! Brown and Porzingis with the give and go of the year! In today's NBA every team goes on a run, expect the Bucks to as well. KP is putting guys on posters tonight! C's with a decent lead at the half but it's still a game folks.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

I knew the Bucks would have their run... JT ends it with a three! JB hits a three and here we go! If the Bucks get this under ten, we are looking at a game! I wouldn't expect any less from them. With that said the C's are a different animal. They are by the far the best starting five plus one in the league. Honestly if they are moving the ball the right way who can beat them? No one! JB with an around the world  windmill slam! He just hurt that rim! C's with a fourteen point lead as JT hits the bench. C's are maintaining the lead to this point. JB with the Lob to Sam! C's lead after three.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

C's have driven this lead up to twenty! All around team effort on both ends tonight. Both Giannis and Lillard haven't been themselves tonight. I expected more from them vs the Celtics tonight. Bucks make another run and have cut this game to ten. C's do what's needed in the end and close out the game.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
