Raptors Invade TD Garden! Toronto vs Boston!

We have some basketball for you tonight! Raptors Invade the Boston Garden to take on the Celtics!

Congrats to Jaylen Marselles Brown on winning the Red Auerbach Award! A well deserved honor to get that award names for the Greatest Coach of All Time! Nice to see Rob the Lob out there. He's is going to need to be fully healthy this post season. If he is the C's will be the team to beat! He does so much on both ends. An excellent rebounder, defender, and Tommy point getter!

Jaylen Brown has to be one of the quickest players getting to the basket. It's like watching lightning but in the form of a basketball player! We are going to need that type of aggression all playoffs. If he is in attack mode, no defender will be able to stop him! His game has come a long way this season and expect greatness in the playoffs.

Derrick White has been a jack of all trades this season. He's a stud/star in my book. He has all the offensive tools in the shed necessary to win. His defense this season has been all world! He has been a machine when coming to blocking shots. He's pretty good at getting steals as well! I absolutely love his professionalism, and his herky jerky style. I expect big things in the playoffs.

Malcolm Brogdon has been an amazing amazing addition to this team. His skill set and abilities in this game show why I love him! He's become an assassin from deep, and he can get inside at will. He's been a damn good passer this season and defensively he's tough as nails. He reminds me of Dennis Johnson...

Blake Griffin has entered and I adore him as a Celtic. He's been what a true Celtic should be. Selfless on the floor and willing to give up his body for the team. He's been Mr Tommy points lately. This dude deserves a ring and this C's team better deliver! Expect Blake to play a role especially if we see the Bucks at some point.

Tonight the C's looked good on defense which is what it will take to win Banner 18. The moved well, and were quick on their switches. If they can ratch it up this post season like last year, they will come away with a ring! Offensively they looked good, yet had a drought. You can't have those moments in the playoffs. Someone needs to be that guy who will end those scoring droughts. Both Jays need to get to the rim in those situations.

C's with a quality win despite being undermanned. We have two games left to the regular season. Let's finish everything up healthy. Do what needs to be done and be ready for the biggest playoff run of your lives. C's are now officially locked into the second seed. It won't be easy but this team is capable of anything! I fully expect to see Philly and the Bucks yet again.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
