There's a buzz in town as the Hornets visit the Celtics.

 1st Quarter ☘️

C's are off to a nice 6-0 start! What's so great is we get Max on the TV broadcast! Do my eyes deceive me and is Gordon Hayward actually playing?! If MJ wants to buy him out, I'm all for us bringing him in!

JT gets inside, and scores with contact, yet no foul! DWhite gets inside scores on the floater and gets the foul! I tell ya DWhite is that player you can count on to make the right plays! Love him! His herkey jerkey motion is beautiful to watch! I guarantee he's going to make a huge play during the playoffs. Gerald Henderson type stuff but on the offensive end!

BG gets the follow up dunk off the JT miss! BG still has some HOPS! BG is Mr ENERGY! Love this dude and the way he hustles out there. He does what he's called upon to do! He can rebound, set screens, play tough D and occasionally go off from three!

C's are turning the ball over which is leading to the Hornets making a run. Need to hit these guys hard and break them early. PP to JT for the ALLEY OOP! That may be the PLAY OF THE GAME! The new guy nails a THREEEEEEEE!!! WE LIKE MIKE!

C's lead after the first, let's build on this lead!

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

DWhite with an incredible three!!! DWhite with another threeeeeeeee!!! DWhite for yet another threeeeeeeee!!! Back 2 back 2 back! Dude is straight fire out there! EN FUEGO!

Mike Tikka Muscala for threeeeeeeee! PP to the rack! The C's are rolling on the river! DWhite to Sam I Am for theeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Love this ball movement and the way they are running! I can hear Tommy applauding this fast paced play! Run! Run! Run!

DWhite for yet another pure as Dove soap three!!! My guy! DWhite for yet another threeeeeeeee!!!! C's are up by twenty! That's how you beat up on inferior opponents!

C's are getting a tad sloppy right now, need to pick it up on defense. Jay T for threeeeeeeee!!! He seems to be locked in tonight! Nice pass from Grant to DWhite and he nails the THREe!!! Love how confidently DWhite is playing!

GWill for THREEEEEEEEE!!! C's are lighting up these Hornets tonight! C's have a decent lead at the half! JT just nailed his 1000th three.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Sam I am for the nothing but net three!!! JT to the hoop! One on three and he scores with ease! Huge game coming up on Super Bowl Sunday! We welcome the Grizz into town!

DWhite gets the corner three off the glass! It's his night tonight! He's balling! JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! The threes are falling down like rain! I'm still not a fan of the three, but I'll take it tonight!

JT with an in yo Mama's face JAM! JT is putting on a clinic! Hot Damn! Let's Go! MVP MVP MVP! Gordon Hayward looks good it's unfortunate he's never healthy. Wish him all the luck in the world!

C's lead by nineteen despite the Hornets being on a 9-0 run. They are playing a bit choppy right now. Damn the lead is vanishing. C's lead but it's much smaller.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Time to D Up! Let's find that rhythm moving the rock and finish this game off right!

DWhite attacks the rim and scores off the glass! He has the complete offensive skill set needed to play this game. Plus he's the best guard at blocking shots!

Can we talk about the bond this team has and continues to develop! They are short handed more than any team, yet they believe in whoever is out there! That's the brotherhood that is The CELTICS!

C's call a much needed timeout, need to regroup and finish off strong! Off the timeout JT posts up and scores! Nothing but net!! C's swat the Hornets back to Charlotte losers!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
