The Sun Sets in Boston Tonight

 1st Quarter ☘️

JB starts us off with a three!!! All Star Jaylen Brown! It's crazy how far the Suns have fallen since losing to the Bucks in the Finals a few years ago. C's D has been stout so far, need the offense to get going.

C's have gone undefeated vs the West at home this season! JB seven, Suns zip! C's have started off a tad slower on offense tonight. C's need to start hitting some shots! They are as cold as it is outside. Need to start picking it up, and move this ball!

Al can't even hold onto the freaking rebound... JB nails the three, but we need the rest of the team to get going. Tonight's start is UGLY... I truly hope this team can wake up and blow the doors off this Suns team.

JB with a huge steal and Jam! Hopefully that ignites the crowd and this team! MB with a stop and go and beautiful layup! Love this dude! MB with a sweet fall away, he's bringing the energy! Cs trail after one and need a huge second quarter.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

The C's are walking in mud, or are frozen in ice. They were unreal vs the Nets and are now getting beat by guys I've never heard of. Absolutely horrid! This defense sucks right now, where is the hustle?!?

It's extremely frustrating to see this team play down to the level of their opponent. So many missed threes, it's enough already. Get to the damn hoop! Brogdon seems to understand getting to the hoop, he needs to share that with the rest of the team.

This team sucks tonight, where is the effort?! No offensive flow at all, and the defense is just as bad. They continue too take lesser opponents lightly and it slaps them in the face. It's been a long cold Friday, all fans want to do is watch a good game. That's not happening so far tonight, so disappointing.

Disgusting basketball tonight. If they want any chance they need a run to finish off the quarter. Back to back threes and there is some life. Tatum hits another and that run I wanted is here. Still plenty of work to do. Great attack by DWhite and draws the foul. Smart play, by Derrick there!

HORRIBLE OFFENSIVE FOUL AND TECHNICAL FOUL. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!

Crappy finish after a nice run.. They have a lot of work to do if they want to win.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

How about a nice 15-0 run?!? JB hits his patented mid range jumper. DWhite for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JT gets to the line for what looks like for three shots. Keep chipping at this lead fellas! It all starts on the defensive end! Lock em down! Excellent D by Al forces the travel.

DWhite forces the action and draws the foul, yet another smart play by Derrick! Let's keep this up! I'm over watching Chris Paul, he's run his course. JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JB passes up the three and gets to the cup for an AND ONE! LETS GO! SMART BASKETBALL PLAY RIGHT THERE. Dare I say Old School basketball...

C's trail by three, keep fighting! These refs are TERRIBLE tonight. JB just backed down Bridges and scores! What a move, what a shot! JT draws another foul on the three. Smart play if guys are gonna foul you.

Cs are knocking at the door, of getting back into this game. Just a few more stops! Luke to the line and the lead is two. Luke is looking fresh with the clean haircut. Luke scores inside off the JT pass! PP pressures Paul into an eight second call! DEFENSE! JT just damn near made this place erupt, but his three bounces out.

Would be nice for the C's to finish this third with a nice run. There is only a few minutes left, but go get it! MB gets to the rack and we have a goaltend. Rob at the buzzer and the C's still trail.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

If the C's can push this pace, they will find a way to win. Screw these Suns right now.

DWhite with a big basket, the defense let's them down again and again. Getting that feel it may be a bad outcome tonight. Getting beat by these Suns bench players is unacceptable.

JB with some effort and heart, gets to the line. Need to see some epic level defense right now. If not, C's fans are going home unhappy. Plus this writer will be fuming.

JB from way downtown! What a waste of a game yet again. Losing to an inferior opponent is unacceptable. Say good bye to the number one seed if they keep playing like this. Losing to teams like this makes me sick. The Bucks are getting closer and closer. Thanks to Giannis pumping in fifty last night.

Celtics lose, which shouldn't have happened. Disgusting loss.

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN.
