The Celtics Motor into Detroit!

No Jaylen Brown as he has an illness. No Marcus Smart, out with his ankle injury.

1st Quarter ☘️

Sam Hauser gets his first start, he better come ready to play. This is a huge opportunity! For the love of basketball, let's hope the C's don't take Detroit lightly. Just go out there and kick their cans all over the place!

Excellent ball movement leads to the Rob Lob! Need to expose this young Pistons front line. C's are off to a slow start, let's hope they can pick it up. Excellent pass by Al to DWhite for the deuce! Sam I am for three! There ya go, get your rhythm going early! Sam for another trey, now we are talking!

JT is posting up, which I love to see but he's not finishing. Eventually those shots are going to fall! C's need to enforce their will on this team. Boy does this Pistons team suck! Al is taking way too many threes tonight.

Celtics are flat as Carl Lewis singing the National Anthem. Time to tighten up and blow this team away. Whether you're bored or not, you have a job to do. You are coming off a loss against a crap Suns team. This Pistons teams is even worse, I'd like to see the C's have an easy win.

PP for threeeeeeeeeeee!!! Hoping for a big game from him! JT gets in the point and scores with the finger roll! Smooth as butter on a roll. BG! Grabbing the offensive rebound! Tommy Point! Leads to an MB three!!! C's need to finish off the last of the quarter the right way, and they allow an easy basket. Unreal!

Kudos to Coach Casey for getting the most out of this bunch. JT drives and draws a foul, C's lead after the first. Not ideal that the lead is one. Don't allow garbage teams to stay close.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Nice move by GWill going off glass, MB off the pick nails a three! DWhite lines one up and scores! Offensively they are getting there but the defense is very lax. DWhite with the sweet drive and scores the lefty layup! That was as pretty as any move I've seen this year!

MB finds Sam I am and nails another threeeeeeeee!!! It seems starting games is the remedy for Sam's shot. This performance so far is building back this man's confidence. He may be a huge piece against the Sixers come Wednesday.

It's so nice to Saddiq Bey missing his shots, since he always over performs vs the C's. RWill sends his weak crap into the stands! DWhite with another pretty move scoring inside! LETS GOOOOOOOOOO! DWhite is one of my favorites since we traded for him!

Excellent spacing by the C's leads to JT getting to the rack! C's have built the lead to ten! Let's double it! JT knows his shot is off, and continues attacking the rim drawing fouls! JT just told Jaden Ivey to get that weak bleep outta here!

JT with the drive and HAMMER! The C's are letting the lead slip away, what the heck are we doing. It would be nice to see Coach Joe blow up at a ref every once in a while.

Sam I am for three, he's taking advantage of his opportunity. These refs suck tonight, gifting the Pistons multiple calls. C's cracking and crashing the offensive glass! Sam I am for another THREEEEEEEEE!!! JT continues to attack and draw fouls. C's continue to slowly build back their lead. C's lead by seven.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

This pregame, and halftime crew other than Eddie House, is horrible. Oh and Stephen A Smith, shut up about bringing that malcontent KD to Boston. WE DON'T NEED OR WANT HIM! JAYLEN BROWN WILL BE PART OF MULTIPLE CELTICS TITLE TEAMS.

Another HORRID CALL! DWhite with the jumper and one! JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Starting to take over this game! JT for THREEEEEEEEE again!!! Blow em out! Move the ball, run and play some hard core D! In my head I sound like Tommy when I say RUN!

JT drives and scores, he's quick as a cheetah out there! This Pistons team is like a gnat that needs to be swatted! MB for Threeeeeeeee!!! Cs have come out with purpose right now! The lead by nineteen, that's what I'm talking about!

JT with the shake and bake and scores! JT again goes into his bag of tricks and scores again! JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! This is a master class in playing the game of basketball! Tatum is doing what needs to be done tonight! I hope Tatum and Brown put on a clinic Wednesday vs the Sixers.

Blake Griffin is making his presence felt tonight, love him! C's lead by eighteen!

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

MB for threeeeeeeee!!! Let's Go! That's the sixth man of the year! He's the best trade of the off season! He's going to be huge in the playoffs!

These guys look like crap without JT out there. Timeout C's as the lead shrinks, need to regroup and finish the game strong. It's time to get JT back out there, to right the ship.

Another crap call vs the C's, with a phantom call. Tatum is back in, we get the Rob Lob! What was a huge lead has shrunk immediately. Joe waited too long to bring the big dawgs back in.

Rob has been HUGE! LOVE HIM, KEEP HIM HEALTHY! He is the ultimate team guy who does all the little things. He's a guy you want on your team.

DWHITE for Threeeeeeeee!!! Money! He's been battling hard all game, and making big plays. He's a very shifty and nifty player! C's come away with a win!

Celtic Pride! Bleed Green! Beat The Sixers!

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN.
