There's a buzz in Charlotte as the Celtics visit the Hornets.

 1st Quarter ☘️

It's a shootout right now, both teams are trading haymakers. Clearly we haven't witnessed too much defense early on. It's nice to see the Celtics pushing the pace. DWhite has been leading the way in scoring! As I've said all year I love this dude! He's going to be a huge cog in Banner 18 coming home!

Oh boy DWhite has hit the ground, seems to have gotten some incidental contact. Hope he's ok....

JT to Rob the Lob for the HAMMER HOME! Smart hits Rob for the Lob! Rob the Lob times two! C's have allowed the Hornets to stay close enough. Time to show why they are one of the worst teams in the NBA. No MERCY! JT with a sweet as honey fall away jumper!

Is it me or is JT getting MVP chants here in Charlotte?! Now that's a sign of respect, and there seems to be plenty of Celtics fans there! Al is en Fuego tonight! Marcus on the other hand can't hit the front side of the barn. C's have allowed way too many points right now. The defense is playing very lethargic.

C's once again playing to the level of an inferior opponent. Zero points in the last 3 plus minutes isn't a recipe for success. MB finally snaps it and the score is 34-31 Hornets. Celtics need to ramp and amp up the D that's the only way they are gonna swat these Hornets away.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Hauser is cold at the start, I'm not surprised he's not hitting much lately. C's are getting rocked right now. As they trail by eleven. Mazzulla needs a timeout.

MB gets to the rack for the and one, Al has re-entered the game. Hauser misses yet again, dude just doesn't have it. The C's are stinking up the second quarter as they trail by 14. Your down to this dumpster fire of a team. Come on now! Hauser isn't consistent enough to be getting so many minutes. That's just my feeling lately, he's not very accurate from three.

Why is it these Celtics suck against teams that well SUCK?!? Please tell me this isn't the start of another back to back losses against a crap team. Similar to when the C's lost to the Magic two games in a row at the Garden.

MB is starting to find his range tonight. Goodness this is unacceptable and infuriating. I hope this team decides to wake up because what the heck kind of effort is this. You beat the Pelicans and Nets back to back yet against the Hornets you stink?? I just don't understand it at all! Imagine buying a ticket as a C's fan and watching them stink it up.

Marcus hits a three, then he finds JT for the jam on the fast break. The lead is thirteen and I'm beyond annoyed. Rob with some huge offensive rebounds. Leads to the C's with a possible and one.

JT with a two handed hammer jam! Hopefully this will be the spark they need to get back into the game. Let's see if they can trim this Hornets lead before the half. Ultimately it will take a huge effort on the defensive end to make it happen. MB for threeeeeeeee!!! RWill is racking up the Tommy points tonight saving that possession.

JT heads to the line, the C's have slowly climbed back into this game. MB for threeeeeeeee off of some excellent ball movement. C's are only down by four as the score is 66-62. There's hope C's fans!

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Hey Celtics players listen to Eddie House! Less threes please! Get to the freaking hoop! The Hornets shot 59 percent, that's unacceptable.

JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JT for another THREEEEEEEEE!!! The lead is down to two! Al for THREEEEEEEEE and we have the lead! PP gets inside and scores! The C's are starting to look like the best team in the East!

JT gets inside and scores easily. C's are cutting hard to the cup! PP with some key D! Love the way he plays! Marcus with the one handed interception! The Wolverine strikes again!

C's are letting the Hornets stay way too close. JT with a sweet as pie fall away! GWill for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Let's Go! C's have pushed the lead to seven! C's lead by ten at the end of the third! 95-85 Good Guys!

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

C's playing some tough D to start up the fourth. MB to the cup for the and one! MB for threeeeeeeee!!! He continues to come up big as the C's done have JB.

Can we talk about Luke Kornet, he's been a breath of fresh air when he's in the game. He's a very fundamentally sound basketball player! Plays D with heart, effort and skill! He sets good quality screens, passes well and on occasion can score! He's the ultimate UNICORN!

Marcus leads the break and JT hammers it home! Nice to see the real C's show up! Good to see old friend Terry Rozier play well. Not sure if he would have worked if he stayed on the C's.

C's had quite the turn around, in this second half. The real Celtics finally showed up and told the Hornets to stick it! Marcus with an exclamation point goes to the hoop and scores at the rim!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! Banner 18!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN.
