Second night of a back to back takes the C's to Brooklyn.

 1st Quarter ☘️

No JB tonight, expect to see JT elevate his game tonight. Will Marcus be able to shut down Kyrie? I'm gonna say heck yes! Anyone else get sick to their stomach seeing Kyrie? After what he did to the Garden floor that's how I'll always feel. Childish behavior!

C's seem very flat right now, refs suck already! Great find by JT as DWhite nails a threeeeeeeee!!! What a drive by DWhite as he scores in the paint! Tonight should be a DWhite kinda game! Expect him to come up big! Given the C's are short handed, he tends to play his best in these situations.

C's offense is flailing so far, until Luke nails a nice jump hook! Luke Kornet for THREEEEEEEEE!!! He's making the most of his opportunity. He's been pretty solid when called upon this season. His defense is fundamentally sound. He can pass, and has a few crafty offensive moves.

I love seeing GWill going to the hoop, it's nice to see his game evolve. Luuuuuuuuuke Kornet with the tip in! These refs are TERRIBLE! C's need to tighten up on defense!

JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! It only takes one for the future MVP of the league to get going! We need to see JT get some more touches even if that means he plays more of a point forward tonight. Let him see the floor and find the best options to score out there. He's becoming a great passer, he sees so well out of double teams!

It's time to see Blake out there, he's a guy who is willing to bang out there! C's with some better D and they force Curry into a turnover. JT just made Joe Harris look foolish on D! Blows by him and scores at the rim! C's run on the miss and JT scores easily!

Marcus needs to stop shooting, he stinks tonight. Goodness do I despise the Nets. Nothing they do is likable and no one on their team is enjoyable to watch. C's trail 31-29.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

These Brooklyn fans have to be the worst. They barely make any noise for their team. Brogdon is leading the second unit tonight. These Nets do a lot of flopping, they must have studied the World Cup.

MB is looking locked in tonight! Cs are getting no respect from the refs tonight. Scal seems to be extra annoying to me as the game progresses. C's trail by eight early. Don't keep Tatum out too long Coach. We need his talent and leadership out there.

Nice three by DWhite! C's with some excellent passing and they have cut the lead to one! Everyone is participating and actively doing what's needed out there. Nice to see PP playing tonight, grabbing offensive boards and nailing an open three!!! I love this kid!

Seth Curry is as annoying to watch out there, you are not your brother! Or even your father for that matter. Marcus Smart is terrible so far tonight.

With everything seeming out of whack the C's only trail by one. Here's what I don't get, C's are playing on a back to back while the Nets haven't played since Sunday. Some NBA scheduling bias?? Any way the league can screw the C's they do!

Marcus must have heard I said he was bad tonight, he's starting to pick it up right now. Gets the roll on his mid range jumper! JT with a George Gervin type finger roll! JT just stuck his jumper in Wannabes face! Celtics lead after the second 60-57.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Charles Barkley never minces words, love the fact he said the Celtics shot selection stinks! For the sake of good basketball let's hope the C's choose better shots this half.

Marcus Smart for THREEEEEEEEE!!! He seems to be finding his game legs as the time pushes on. C's have been crashing the glass on both ends of the floor. I love that! JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Celtics are still shooting way too many threes.

GWill goes hard to hole! Love how he's been getting into the paint with no fear lately. Doesn't matter who is in there or who is guarding him. Get the heck out of his way! Or he's gonna use that stout body and bump you out of the way!

Great job by Marcus drawing the foul, need more of that tonight! It's great to have Marcus back despite the slower start. He's balanced off quite nicely tonight! Where is the foul when JT goes to the hoop?!? Unreal!

JT to Rob the Lob for the DUNK! MB for Threeeeeeeee!!! Excellent ball movement leads to a beautiful shot! When will we see a C's run?! They haven't had a really good one yet. Maybe they are saving it for the end of the game.

A block by Grant leads to an MB three! Let's Go! Way too tight of a game for my liking. In all reality this Nets team isn't that impressive. Bucks are still the biggest threat to the C's. These Nets are nothing to worry about! Saw a quote from Magic Johnson saying they were out biggest threat, get the heck out of here!

Celtics lead 84-82.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

What a BLOCK BY DWHITE! PP making the most of his time on the court. PP with the tear drop! MB to the rack! Let's Go!

C's defense and hustle has been special so far this quarter. All this without JT, Marcus and RWill.. Kudos to the bench for playing excellent right now!

Love watching Marcus talking smack out there! C's need to pick it up on offense, because the defense is clicking! Marcus to KORNET! THE UNICORN!

I told you we hadn't had our run! Here it is and it keeps coming! Let's Go!

C's need to attack the rim, they have allowed Brooklyn to get back into the game. Marcus draws the foul on the three! Dare I say a Smart play! Love seeing Marcus making Irving look foolish.

JT using that basketball IQ by driving to the hoop and getting the foul. Nevermind it was challenged and overturned. Rob jack hammers home the dunk! JT to the rack for the and one! DWhite for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Goodnight Brooklyn! A threat to the C's my kiester!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

RIP to Lisa Marie Presley

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
