How badly do you need to be embarrassed.

Just imagine Luke is holding up an L above his head. That's how watching last night's debacle made me feel. Like a loser! I don't even play for the team yet I feel that way. I hope they all looked in the mirror and now realize they are in the Celtics history books for giving up the third most points. Disgusting! Disgraceful! No effort! No heart! No DEFENSE!

Tonight is a must win, last year there were plenty of must wins. Especially early on because this team was so hit or miss. This season started out so damn well. Now it's tailoring off. You never know what team you are gonna see on a given night. Lately we get the team that plays to the level of their opponent. Losing to teams like Orlando, Indiana and now OKC. It's frustrating! It's unacceptable!

I get it's a long season, but have some damn pride! A year ago today I was in the hospital with life threatening injuries. First and foremost God and my family got me through. Watching and writing about the C's helped me so much! I love this team! I expect better!

You aren't going to lock down Luka but just manage him and force his teammates to beat you. If I have any hope in this team, then I expect a much better team on Thursday. I want effort, heart, hustle, and balls!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official.
