Rockets Red Glare as Boston welcomes Houston, can the Celtics run them off the floor?!

 1st Quarter ☘️

No Coach Mazzulla, he's out with an eye infection. Let's see what Damon Stoudamire has to offer as Coach tonight. C's need to jump all over the Rockets early on. If ya do that they will mail it in.

C's D forces the Rockets into a terrible first shot. The C's are already shooting too many threes. Time to take the ball to the hoop. JB gets inside and scores, that's what we need to see tonight.

How is it lately, that every time we play a team that's inferior we fall behind. Is it lack of energy, effort or no defense?

JT takes the ball in transition and stuffs it home! On their best offensive possession of the game the ball touches everyone and they score! Give me that all game please! That's basketball at it's best!

Kudos to JB for passing Ray Allen on the all time three point list in Celtics history. JB is a guy who always puts the work in. It's evident by what we see on a regular basis from him. I've loved his game since he came out of Cal. JB with a great cut and hammer jam! The quarter belongs to Mr Jaylen Brown!

Sam Hauser has lost his shot, like it went missing and it can't be found. It should be placed on a milk carton so it can eventually be found. If he can't find his shot, he shouldn't be playing!

Celtics only lead by one vs the lowly Rockets. If you can't tell I'm annoyed by this start!

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Why does a team who has missed a ton of threes, keep shooting freaking threes! What in the H E double hockey sticks is going on!!!

Great job by DWhite getting into the paint and scoring on the floater. That is going to be available all game! Another quality possession by DWhite getting to the rim and drawing the foul. When the hoop seems to be locked you need to bust it open by getting to the rim! That's the Key!

Can we talk about the East right now?! Soooooooooooo many teams separated by just a few games. Bucks, Nets, Sixers and Cavs are all knocking down the door of the C's who lead the pack. Who scares our readers the most?! My answer is none of em! If I do have to pick, it's still the Bucks. Giannis is a transcendent player.

RWill with an incredible pass to JT for the rim rocking DUNK! Love seeing the big man passing with such efficiency! Excellent cut to the rim by JT as well! I have said this before and will again. Cutting to the hoop and in general is a lost art.

This defense sucks! Guess what C's fans another threeeeeeeee MISSED! I miss the way basketball used to play. You can all thank Steph Curry for changing the game in the wrong direction.

Guys like Jordan, Bird and Magic changed the way the game yet in a way that was beautiful. Those guys could do it all, and that's what made their games so very special. Passing, defense, and an all around game that involved posting up, shooting jumpers, getting to the rim and so much more!

C's have four minutes to put some distance between them and the Rockets. Time to see this Rocket crash and burn! If I see another three point shot I'm gonna lose my basketball mind! JT hits a three and the C's grab the lead back.

Congrats to Marcus on getting engaged! Remember Marcus happy wife happy life! Scal continues to be unimpressive during the broadcast. He's just so fake! JT glides to the hoop and can get an and one! Celtics lead after the second 56-49.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

C's come out chucking up threes once again. Can someone go to the hoop?! On a good note the C's are hitting their free throws. Back to back trips to the line for soon to be MVP JT!

C's keep allowing the Rockets to stay close, eventually this could bite them in the butt. Think about that, you allow inferior teams to linger around and eventually they can beat ya. The Celtics have put very little effort into the defensive end.

If we want to win this game, let's amp up the defense and start getting to the hoop.

As much as I despise the three point shot. When JT hits that step back THREe it's pretty sweet. C's have a seven point lead, which seems light to me! This year, when facing bad teams the C's play to their level.

JB is starting to heat up! He brings the house down with a left handed rim rocking jam! He's bringing that first quarter magic to the third!

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀C's have finally put some distance between them and the Rockers. Nice to see this team still has the ability close out games.

C's need to find what they did right Vs the Bucks and start applying that to every other team!

How great has been seeing Rob back out there?!. He's just the perfect fit for this team, he does everything you want a guy to do!

Both C's have hit the thirty point mark! According to Mike Gorman this is the 18th time they have down so! Talk about impressive!

C's only lead by ten, can they close this out?! I believe they will, if not my head will explode! Anyone want to see them enact some revenge against the Clippers Thursday?! I know I do! Revenge is a dish best served cold!

JT with the exclamation point windmill Jam! Time to send in the bench warmers! Tonight was a Jay Team explosion! Bing Bang Boom! Celtics win 126-102!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

It's Geno Time!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
