Pacing into the Garden as we welcome Indiana to town.

Keys to tonight, move the ball efficiently, place with pace, and bring that fire. Let's get back to Celtics basketball.

 1st Quarter ☘️

PP gets the start for the C's tonight, I have to say I love it. No Marcus Smart tonight, with an illness. Time for everyone else to step up! First play on the offensive end sees JT drive to the hoop drawing a foul. That's the mindset we need to see tonight.

JB taking it strong on the drive and dropping the hammer! Follows it up with another drive and layup! JB has the ability to get to the hoop whenever he wants. If he keeps doing this he can be unstoppable.

JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! It would be nice for him to find his stroke from deep. For some reason that trickles down to the other aspects of his game. Time to get that unstoppable JT back!

C's find themselves trailing early on, talk about not being ready to go. C's are getting rolled yet again on defense, and shooting way too many threes. A much needed timeout by Coach Mazzulla.

There is no excuse for shooting so many threes, if they don't fall down go to the hoop! This team has forgotten how to play basketball. Losing this terribly at home to yet another inferior team.

At least Rob seems to be hustling tonight. Great follow up dunk from Rob, he's bringing the energy. Everyone else seems asleep. Disgusting start to a game they need to win. Celtics trail 42-22. This game sucks and this team is horrible right now.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

MB seems a tad off lately, this entire team doesn't look good.

What a great block by JT. Hopefully that can ignite this team. At this point I really don't see it happening. They look like crap in every aspect of the game. In other news the Bucks are getting rolled by the Cavs.

If they want any shot at winning tonight, they need to make a run to finish off the half. Who even wants to watch this, this brand of basketball sucks. Down by twenty five at home is unacceptable.

You wait all week to finally see them play and this is what we see. Come on now! This is just, atrocious! This team deserves to be sent down to the g league seeing this performance.

Celtics trail at the half 71-43 in the absolute worst half I've ever seen.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

C's hit a three to open the quarter, now it's all about defense.... Al hits another threeeeeeeee! Timeout by Indiana, let's see if the C's can keep grinding.

This team stinks right now, can't even make a sustained run. Down by 22 and have shown no signs of life.

I'm not sure what team we are watching but is this last seasons version. The one that sucked early on.

That Haliburton set shot is just plain UGLY. JT just dunked the crap out of the ball. I felt some anger and frustration in that dunk. I get it JT, watching you guys lately has been very difficult.

Some how the C's have cut the lead to thirteen. Not going to get too excited, if they get it to single digits then we can talk.
The one thing they didn't do was lay down at the half. Kudos to the C's for fighting!

Celtics have shown some heart, yet still trail 100-85.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Play defense and you may have a shot. Nice to see Hauser finally hitting his shots, it's been quite a while. He's shot so many bricks lately he could build me two new houses. Glad he's finding his stroke...

Where has Whites offense been?!? He seems all out of sorts lately. Hopefully he can get his shot back because his offense is needed. This team needs everyone to be at their best to win.

Rob earning himself some Tommy points tonight. JT heads to the line with a chance to cut this to single digits. A little over six minutes to go, can the C's compete this comeback???

C's have the lead down to eight. A little over three minutes to go. When you dig a hole as deep as the C's did, it's tough to find your way out. In other NBA news the Bucks lost, which ultimately means nothing if we lose as well. It's going to take an epic defensive stand to make this miracle happen.

Well clearly they aren't making it all the way back. If they didn't have such a horrible start maybe they actually win this one. Yet again we lose at home to a team that we should have crushed. Celtics lose to the Pacers 117-112.

Bleed Green Celtic Pride

Not sure how many absolute duds I can take watching at the Garden. Friday will be a new day with hopefully a better result.

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
