When you look at these Boston Celtics over the years there has been one constant. That constant is Marcus the Wolverine Smart. He is the heart of this Celtics team.
He is always willing to give up his body for the team. His defense is always stout, he challenges each and every player no matter their status. He just has a special knack at annoying the other teams. If you ask me what the definition of defense is, it's a picture of him.
The knock on him was, he isn't a true point guard. Yet over these past two seasons specifically he has shown he can be the point guard of a winning team. He's lowered his shots and is now pass first. His passing can quite magical out there. He knows where guys are going to be, and he also knows where they should be!
He has no issue hustling and diving for loose balls. He likes to rebound and bang with the bigs. He tends to hit very timely shots. An underrated part of his game is the ability to drive and even post up. His body is built like a machine!
When this team raises Banner 18, his heart will be at the center of it all. Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!
