Empire State of Mind as the C's face Brooklyn

Unfortunately we have no Marcus tonight, it means next man up!

Keys to the game - attack KD on defense and make him work on both ends.

Run, this Nets team doesn't like to play defense.

Move the ball with pinpoint accuracy, less hero ball than last game.

Let's see Payton Pritchard get some run tonight.

Side Note- personally I'm not a big fan of watching either malcontent KD or Kyrie.

1st Quarter ☘️

What is this horrible Brooklyn chant, very weak just like this team. Oh this homecourt design and color sucks! No arena touches the Boston Garden!

The refs are already starting to give the Nets calls, and we aren't even a minute in. Terrible defense by the C's right now, need to step it up. WHAT are WE doing out there?!! No energy or effort to start.

Thank You GWill for going to the hoop! Just like that we get. GWill for THREEEEEEEEE!!! They should have paid this man in the off season.

Excellent D by the C's swatting away Kyries weak layup! Nice answer by the C's to have stormed back for the lead! This is Celtics basketball! JB seems to be playing with an edge, proving why he should have never been mentioned in trading for KD.

The C's D has stepped up mightily, love the way they are closing out, forcing the Nets into contested shots. DWhite is off tonight, let's hope he gets it going.

Downtown Jaylen Brown for threeeeeeeee!!! Another JB for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JB keep proving KD is last his prime and you are in yours! I love how both Brown and Tatum have found fuel for fire to get better this season. Excellent drive and lay in by JB! Ooh look who is in? Payton Pritchard just what I called for!

Malcolm Brogdon is as smooth as ice cream on a hot night! Draining a nothing but net THREEEEEEEE!!! Excellent cut by PP and MB finds him! LOVE IT! Celtics lead after one 35-27, and that's with limited minutes from JT.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Why does Scal feel the need to verbally glow about guys like KD and Kyrie? They are everything wrong with basketball. After how bad Kyrie was when he was here, and then stepping on our Logo. Get out of here! Same with KD calling Boston racist, yet you almost signed here! HYPOCRITE! I don't even want these two in my TV!

What a steal by JT finding PP for the points in transition. Every time we get PP run, he brings the energy. Haus Money with a great block! Love the defense tonight, this is the end where championships are won. Great job by JT securing the offensive rebound finding DWhite for THREEEEEEEEE!!!

I have no love for the Nets, Heat or Lakers, and I'm sure our readers can tell. There's a way you do things and each of these franchises do it in a way that feels dirty.

Celtics have six minutes to close on a nice run. Man JT is cold as ice right now, what is going on. He drops 49 the other night, and these last two games has no feel for the rim. I believe he will find it, but it needs to be NOW!

RIGHT ON CUE! JT with a nothing but net SWISH! Good job by MB taking it right into Claxton's chest, drawing the foul. JB is pure with his patented fall away jumper. Then he finds MB for Threeeeeeeee!!! JT with a sweet fall away sticking it in KDs face!

JTs shot has been off, so you have to love him going into the post and drawing a foul. Call that true maturation in your super stud baller. Just like that JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! MVP! C's up by ten, and they force Kyrie into a turnover.

What a shot by JT!!!! My goodness!!!! Celtics lead 62-50.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

Running in sludge to start this third quarter, wake up fellas! Just like that and lead is being squandered. Feels like the first quarter all over again. Just like first quarter a crap call given to KD.

What a BLOCK BY AL!!!! Followed by JB attacking the rim as if his life depended on it. Great defense by the C's forcing a shot clock violation!

Where is the offense??? Time to move the ball! Tatum gets hit with the body and no call. NBA refs are the WORST! If the C's actually finished strong they could put Brooklyn away. Which they aren't because their offense is bone dry right now.

Timely- timeout for Coach Mazzulla.

MB to his left for an and one! He's the calming presence for this team. Celtics lead after three 75-69.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Time to start moving the rock like we know how too! What a BLOCK BY JB! Love when he steps up on D.

Excellent drive and kick for a Haus Money threeeeeeeee!!! What an odd game tonight, where is the offense?? Both teams are anemic right now.

Al for THREEEEEEEEE!!! JB with a HAMMER DUNK!!! JB on the break again!!!

JT picks KDs pocket! Showing KD that he's the top dawg now! Sometimes you need to win a rock fight, and let's hope the C's do.

I haven't been this annoyed watching this team since early last season. Smart basketball play by JB drawing a foul. Get to the hoop guys and finish this game off!

JT with back to back hoops and the Nets can stay home as LOSAHs! Despite an ugly game the Jays have combined for 63 points! Celtics win an absolutely ugly game 103-92.

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! Playing in Brooklyn seems like a home game!

The Elm Street Nightmare

Rules of survival: When search-and-rescue turns into body recovery

How the Hell did this happen? Two days after 19-year-old Emily Sotelo was supposedly dropped off in Franconia Notch (NH) at roughly 5:00 AM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2022 by her mother, to hike several mountains alone, the search continues for the young lady. Photo by Linda Lane The information from news agencies indicated that Emily started hiking the trails while it was still dark. She was supposedly wearing only sneakers, a coat and workout pants. I can persona;ly attest that the weather in the area was very cold with high wind speeds, and gaining elevation on the trails would only add to the horrendous conditions. Ms. Sotelo was reportedly a seasoned hiker, but had little or no experience hiking in winter. At the peaks, temperatures on that Sunday dropped to zero degrees with a wind chill of minus-30 degrees. It is beyond my comprehension to imagine a hiker-of-experience tackling that kind of travel - in extreme weather - with only basic clothes and few (or no) supplies. I have hik

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Stauskas had an historic week, scoring 100 points on 57 and 43 point performances in back-to-back games for Grand Rapids. — Adrian Wo
