A Cool Boston Night and the Heat is on. Celtics look for six in a row.

1st Quarter ☘️

Despite a cooler start, the C's are rounding themselves back into form! Kudos to Coach Mazzulla and his sand castle metaphor to inspire his team. So far we are seeing a very tightly officiated game.

Marcus Smart with an amazing rebound! Jumping over the entire Miami Heat team! Boy do I love the Wolverine! He does everything the perfect teammate should.

JB taking it hard to Deadmon who looks like he's been hardened by the league. He and Haslem have a combined age of 96!!! Tonight is being played at Miami's pace. I don't like it! Time for the C's to exert their will!

We need to see the C's move the ball and get those open looks we are used too. By the way those Heat uniforms are awfully ugly! It looks like each individual uniform has different colors on the numbers.

Great job by Luke on D against Bam! Brogdon with a nice three for the lead!!! I absolutely love the way Malcom plays basketball!

Celtics and Heat all tied at 27.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

This game has that dirty, mucked up feeling yet the C's have punched their way too a lead. You have to love the fight despite JT having a slower start.

Kudos to Eddie House for calling out the refs! We didn't come here to watch you guys! We are here for the C's!!!!

I dislike Jimmy Butlers game and his commercials! He's a solid player but plays with a hair across his behind against us. Every player gets a giddy in their step vs us!

JTs kicks are fire tonight, what an excellent pass to Grant for threeeeeeeee!!! JT always tries to find his dude in the right spot. Love their connection on the court.

These refs are absolutely HORRIBLE tonight! I just said that in my Tommy Heinsohn voice!

Sam I am for THREEEEEEEEE!!! Haus Money!!! Take it to the bank and CASH it! Celtics lead at the half 62-59.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

C's coming out with a JB layup and the foul! Love the way he attacked the gap in the D! Great use of the body by Marcus getting to the hoop for two! Such a heady player.

Let it be known Kyle Lowry is one of the biggest floppers in the NBA. Nothing about his game is appealing to me! He's like a gnat that you just want to splat!

C's seem very flat tonight, can we please see Payton Pritchard. We know he brings the energy. Come on now fellas, let's go!

Great job by JB heading to the rim with authority! Getting a fourth foul on the gnat Lowry. Despite the lack of flow the C's are up by three. Great D by JB forcing Herro to travel.

Time to go on a run guys, excellent pass to Marcus! That's how you defeat the zone! JB is shouldering the load tonight, gotta love him! C's have built this lead to ten.

The refs are absolutely awful! Tommy Heinsohn is yelling from basketball Heaven in disgust! I'm yelling at me tv for him here on earth! It's BOGUS!!! Celtics lead after the third 87-81.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Excellent D by Al forcing Bam into a missed shot. Need to finish this one off tonight, as we head out on that lengthy road trip.

Excellent job by Joe using the challenge! Absolutely no flow tonight and the lead has evaporated away. This isn't Celtics basketball, way too many turnovers.

This game reminds me of last season in the playoffs vs the Heat. This has been a Rocky vs Apollo slugfest. Teams are trading jabs and haymakers.

JB with a shot off the glass for the ages! Ties it up and sends the game to overtime! He called GLASS! THE BANK IS OPEN!!!! All tied up at 110.

Overtime ☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️

WHAT A SAVE BY SMART!!!! Then follows it up with a bad three. JB with the jumper!!!

JT with the big rebound and put back!

Grant forces the charge, love how he loves playing D.

In the end the C's had way too many turnovers tonight and fall to Miami 120-116. The way Miami celebrated was disgusting. Remember that guy's the next time you play these guys.

Bleed Green Celtic Pride!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
