When we Mature, we Grow!

MATURE- the state, fact, or period of being mature.

"their experience, maturity, and strong work ethic"

This may be a theme, but talking to my dad last night he says I can't believe how much Jayson Tatum has matured!

Say what you want about the in the heat of moments when he questions the refs. If I were him I'd do the same knowing the bias refs have against Celtics players.

For those of us who have been watching JT since he entered league, you can say this- that young man has grown each and every year. His game and his body have shown that each and every year. This season we are truly watching something special!

Offensively the only holes I see are the fixation on the three, that's a team and league wide issue. Yet when he's on from deep NO ONE CAN STOP HIM! His ability to hit mid range shots is strong, when he posts up it's game over. Last night he hit a rainbow fade away that said Michael Jordan to me! His strength has given him the gift of getting to the rim and bringing the House Down!

His skills as a passer are a clear sign of his basketball IQ, dare I say he's heading into Larry Bird type status there! He reads double teams, and just has a knack of finding the right guy. We always knew he had the offensive skills. Since last season and now his D is becoming elite! He also has no fear in guarding the other teams best players!

In a few weeks I'll get to see him up close and personal with dad, and let me say I expect to see a very mature performance by him!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
