Thanksgiving Eve matches the C's vs Mavs

 1st Quarter ☘️

Celtics and Mavs are trading blows early on! Celtics are locked in so far tonight. Personally love seeing JT D up Luka. That's what you want your great players to do!

Incredible pass from Marcus to JB for the JAM! The way Marcus sees the floor now, shows how much he's grown.

JB using that man strength to get to the rack and show the Mavs I'm here to play. JB with the left, showing he's got it there too! Love the way JB has come out tonight, showing he's ready for this prime time showdown.

Brogdon hitting threes is a spectacular sight! Liked it so much, he did it again! Love the energy from the whole team tonight! Celtics lead after one 34-23.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

JT for THREEEEEEEEE!!! The grit this young man shows playing with injuries, shows me he's a throwback! I LoVE everything about his game.

DWhite continues to impress me, love the way his game has improved! You can definitely tell he put the work in during the off season. His three point shot is pure, he gets to the rack, and his D is stout!

Al's shooting has been en Fuego so far tonight! Digging this lineup right now, Malcom and Marcus the M & Ms! Marcus showing the range nailing a three!

C's are out hustling and put working the Mavs on both ends! JT has come to play tonight! MVP! MVP! MVP!

Celtics lead at the half, 70 to 49! Whooping that behind!

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

C's have come out with a tad less energy, yet still lead by 20! You're telling me the Mavs are 9-7 and Luka is the MVP favorite?! While the Celtics are 13-4??? Tell me who the real MVP is, it's JT!

The C's are absolutely destroying the Mavs! Let's Go! If the C's put this effort forward every game there is no stopping them! The game of basketball is beautiful, when the C's play like this they are beyond beautiful!

The Celtics defense has been excellent! This is what you want to see, especially against one of the leagues best players. A total team effort, too not only pressure Luka but shut down his teammates! Excellent D by the Wolverine to force a turnover!

JB needs to learn to let the offense flow but you have to appreciate him wanting to get other guys involved. Just Don't TURN IT OVER! How about this all five Celtics starters are in double figures already!

C's have played a pretty damn good game overall. Yet the lead is down to 16, need to finish strong! Do not give the Mavs any hope!!! After three it's the C's 101-85.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

It's getting a little too close for comfort,as the lead is only fourteen. Brogdon off the dribble is just pure poetry!

In today's game a lead is never safe, the three point shot is evidence of that. Did anyone just see how pure that JT fade away is! The way he gets to the rim is effortlessly! It just shows how much his game has improved!

Just like that the lead is down to ten, kudos to the Mavs for playing hard. Luka has been unreal tonight.

JB coming up big with back to back hoops! He's got that ability to just go off like fire cracker!

Al with the bounce on that three! Red was doing what he could from Heaven. Time too finish strong now fellas. The game is close enough, knock the Mavs out!

JAYSON TATUM JUST WENT THRU THE MAVS D, AS IF HE WERE INVISIBLE! Such a beautiful drive and jam! JT just sent blocked Lukas shot and said NOT IN MY HOUSE! Followed up by a JB for THREEEEEEEEE!!!!

Celtics win 125-112!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

To everyone out there, enjoy Thanksgiving! This will be my first without Mom, in her honor we will celebrate her! Hold on to those you love!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
