Time to Defeat and Beat the Heat?! Celtics look to to stay perfect in South Beach.

 1st Quarter ☘️

The Celtics are going to need an answer for Bam tonight. He seems to have activated BAM from the playoffs when he went off against us. He's a solid big, but should not be beating us by himself. RWills absence is huge for this group. Need him back fully healthy, we need someone to come in and shit Bam down.

Defensively we need to see the Celtics tighten things up. They seem to be a step slow right now but I expect them to pick it up. Coach Mazzulla will accept no less than great D from this group. Go get em coach, we need to assert our will.

DWhite hitting corner threes is something we should all get used to this season. He could become an assassin from the corners. You have to love the fact he's crashing the boards on the defensive end.

JB with incredible defense against flop specialist Kyle Lowry. JB didn't go for the cheap fakes and sent that weak crap where it belonged. Followed up by Noah Vonleh also getting a defensive stop vs Lowry. Mark my words Noah is going to be a huge piece this season. Celtics have tightened up on and D and their offense seems to be flowing much better.

Noah Vonleh is my dude, grabs the offensive rebound, an excellent spin move followed by a thunderous dunk! Let's Go! Then down on the defensive end he came back and blocked a shot! Celtics lead after the first 30-22.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Hauser hits from the corner, a sight we should be seeing a lot of! Noah Vonleh is showing me some of what RWill did last season. Earning the Celtics extra possessions on the offensive end, then putting a dunk-exclamation point on it! He is not taking this opportunity lightly, we are getting the lottery pick everyone expected Vonleh to be!

Malcolm Brogdon is someone we should revel in watching. He brings a fluid pace to running an offense. It's like watching a well oiled machine in action. He has a way of just finding guys where they want to be. He also can make things go down where he creates open shots for his teammates. If MB stays healthy the sixth man award is his!

JB and JT look like men against boys, their games and demeanor exhibit that of total STUDS! They are going to continue to get better game after game. They are like a great song that builds and builds until the crescendo. The regular season will see them build and build and the crescendo will be in the playoffs and winning it all.

The Wolverine is dropping dimes like Bob Cousy and shooting hook shots like Tommy Heinsohn tonight! He's a magician of many tricks out there tonight! Marcus is looking poised to have his best season yet. Having MB pushing Marcus is the best thing for him this season. Competition breeds winning basketball. Celtics lead after the second 59-51.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️🍀

The Heat have come out ready to fight, both Jays have shown they are willing to give it right back. Watching this Celtics D, they are very disciplined. They stick to their guy and don't go for simple fakes. However the lead has no become moot, as we are all tied up. Good timeout by Coach Mazzulla. Need to see a nice run to end this third.

JT is taking over!!! After hitting a technical foul shot, he gets to the rim followed by a deep three! Let me say this, the Heat like to muck up the game that's for sure. They can be a bit dirty on both ends, must have learned that from Pat Riley and his old Knickerbocker teams.

There is nothing I dislike more than how the NBA has let Lowry flop his way in each and every game he plays. This Celtics team is playing on another level. In years past the run by Miami would have gotten into double digits. Yet not this year! Celtics finish this third with a nice flow on offense and JT blocking a shot to put the cherry on the ice cream on D! Celtics lead 89-77.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

You have to love JB passing up threes to get to the rack. The fact they are passing up threes to get higher percentage shots is a huge sign of growth. We get another glimpse of Hauser hitting a three from the corner! He's going to be a pain point shooter this year.

These refs have been inconsistent, once again Miami is muddying the waters and making a run. Celtics get a much needed basket which will hopefully calm the waters. The Celtics have shown poise that maybe even last year wasn't there.

The Celtics are becoming a team that knows how to close games! This is yet another sign that we are on a mission. It's another huge sign of their growth as a team. Celtics with the 111-104 win! Bleed Green! Celtic Pride! JT with 29 and JB with 28! Studs!!!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
