My Kind of town Chicago as the late great Sinatra would sing. Celtics vs Bulls

 1st Quarter ☘️

Congratulations to JT getting player of the week! If I know him it's only about team goals and success for this year. The Celtics passing is spectacular so far. Plus the birthday boy is coming out hot! You have to love how they are carving up this porous defense of the Bulls.

Celtics D is locking the Bulls up so far! Inflict the pain! Seek out your defender and destroy! This ball movement tonight is very crisp! When this team is locked in on both ends they aren't losing very many games.

What a hot start, this is Celtics basketball at it's best! Noah Vonleh, is getting the Celtics extra possessions, making up for RWills absence. It feels like the C's should be up by more. This Bulls team, has some fight in them. Celtics lead 39-30

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Celtics shot 61 percent in the first, let's keep it rolling. Rebounding is a bit of an issue right now. This lead is evaporating before our eyes. The defense has lost its edge, time to tighten things up!

Someone needs to stop the Running of the Bulls right now. How is this game tied?? We need to attack the hoop and stop shooting all these threes. Each game has their ebbs and flows, and right now it's not good.

Als shot if off right now, he isn't himself early this season. We need last year's Al to make a triumphant return! The C's are ice cold right now. Label this writer as frustrated! Way too many threes being shot right now! Go to the damn hoop!

Between this game and the Patriots I may just lost my mind! Celtics trail 65-54.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

We better see some adjustments from this group, less threes and better D! I love seeing JT post up and get to the hoop! That is becoming a huge piece of his game. He's getting damn good at it. JB with an excellent fall away jumper. Give me more of that Bday Brown! That shot could be unstoppable! JT for threeeeeeeee!!! The Wolverine for threeeeeeeee! Let's Go!

We needed a run, and this team has come out on a mission. Marcus draws the charge, that's why he's DPOY! Despite a good start the lead is back up to double digits. The C's may not have it tonight, the Bulls are playing above their heads.

Coach Mazzulla has been ejected! These refs have sucked, along with the C's play currently. Celtics trail 100-79.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Tonight's rebounding effort has been non existent. This game reminds me of games early in the year last season. It's not over but they better come to play Friday night.

The defense tonight has been unacceptable, you aren't winning any games playing like this. GWill has been ejected, sometimes the refs just truly stink. Some nights are just not your night! C's started out so well and then over these past quarters it's all disappeared and it's disappointing.

Celtics lose 120-102

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's . I would accompany my dad and grandfather on fishing trips to the Ipswich River in North Reading, Massachusetts - followed by a visit to the restaurant on Main Street. In later years, my wife, Linda, and I would eat there with our two kids, Marc and Lisa - and years later - with our two grand daughters - and still later - with our great grandson, Carson. Author and family at Kitty's approx. 10 years ago Kitty's never disappointed. The drinks were big and well-made . The food was terrific - as were the portions. The service was exceptional and we became well-acquainted with the waiters and waitresses. It all worked so very well for many decades. My grand daughter, Courtney , was particularly fond of the restaurant. She was born with cystic fibrosis , and during her fr...
