Walking in Memphis I mean Boston.

Memphis and Ja Morant come walking into Boston. For an epic regular season matchup. Will the Celtics second rated D be able to contain him? Fully expect JT to play a huge role tonight showing Ja this is my gym and I'm gunning for the win.

    1st Quarter

The Celtics are 6-1 in their last 7 home games. Let's hope the fans are pumped and ready to make some noise. Charles Barkley is still talking trash about the C's time for the whole team to shut Chuck up!

Nice to see the Celtics start off tonight like it's a big game! Now they can't rest on their laurels, keep the ball moving and defensive intensity up! Let's go! RWill sending weak shots into the stands is what we need more of! Back to back sloppy plays, unacceptable! Celtics are keeping the Grizzlies in the game. Way to sloppy out there.

    2nd Quarter

PP after being given more time on the floor has shown he can be a key piece on a winning team. The trade of DS played a big part in giving Pritch a chance to shows he's worthy. Kid is a clear cut winner and willing to compete! The more time he has with JT the better he will get!

Offense is at a premium tonight, it's brick city out here! They could build a house with a two car garage with all these bricks by both teams. Instead of continuing to shoot threes let's get to the basket! If the Celtics can get to the rack they can increase this lead. Why teams are so three happy makes no sense to this writer!

    3rd Quarter

The Wolverine coming out knocking down some three's. So far a much better pace offensively, forcing the Grizzlies into a time out! Nice to see the fire in which they are coming out. They need to continue to keep Ja at bay. Keep pushing the pace and good things will continue!

Enough can't be said about GWill, we always knew he was a smart player, but his basketball talent is following suit. He's almost automatic from three and he knows when to use his body and get inside. Team play showing up off the double team on JT, he found Al who found RWill for the JAM! Now that's some spectacular ball movement. What a defensive sequence from the Celtics, blocking shots and just playing HARD!

    4th Quarter

All the pundits have said is the Celtics haven't been anyone. Right now they are beating a beast of a team from out West. Would this win be a signature win up to this point for the C's?! It's getting interesting as the Celtics call a time out. Let's see if they can finish the deal and seal the win.

Out of the TO, we see a play drawn up getting JT to the hoop, gotta say that's good coaching by Ime. Quite a fourth quarter overall. Both teams trading punches, and overall a fun basketball game. JT has played very well tonight. Al's been balling and doesn't look his age. Just a few plays away from a very good victory! With the Wolverines dagger we can call game! Just for good measure JT for three! Bleed Green!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
