Late Night in the Golden State

   1st Quarter

Now this game tonight would be a nice matchup in the playoffs. Matchup to zone in on is how can the Wolverine keep up with the great Steph Curry. Al knocking down his first shot is a great sign! They have already shot way to many threes for my taste. Get to the damn hoop tonight, make the Warriors work on D!

This Warriors D is very tough, Celtics have their hands full on both ends! Klay has five early, you don't want him getting hot. Love seeing JT jump the passing lane and getting the steal! Nice steal by the Wolverine and getting two on the other end. It's going to take a monumental defensive effort for the Celtics to win tonight.

   2nd Quarter

Choppy offense towards the end of the first cost the Celtics some points. On the other hand their D held up well against this potent Warriors offense. Need to see more aggression on the offensive end by taking the ball strong to the rack! Need to get some points out of the bench.

DWhite is cold as ice lately. Nice to see Theis getting some early action, but guess what he's already got two fouls. We have an ugly defensive war going on tonight. This feels like a playoff game, the two top defensive teams in the league trading blows. I'm all in on seeing the Celtics exert their will on D!

   3rd Quarter

Celtics D has been the story of the game, let's hope it continues as we get into the third quarter. Time to go out there and put these Warriors to bed. Run them off of the court! The Wolverine has been everywhere tonight, making plays on both ends and even getting under Steve Kerr's skin! Gotta love it!

Celtics ball movement has been much better the quarter. When that bad moves it makes for a much more enjoyable game and team. We need to see RWill develop that 10 to 15 ft shot. Call the Chief or Kevin and help this kid on his shooting and post moves.

   4th Quarter

Tonight's defensive effort has been extremely impressive! As I always write defense wins championships! Defense travels on the road, and can silence a home crowd! Keep this up and we are going to be the most dangerous team in the playoffs.

Celtics fans where do you see this team going in the playoffs, I think they can make and win the Eastern Conference. Any thoughts by our intelligent readers? Give us some feedback. I will always bleed Green win or lose. Celtic Pride!

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Stauskas had an historic week, scoring 100 points on 57 and 43 point performances in back-to-back games for Grand Rapids. — Adrian Wo
