That's the night that the lights went out in Georgia, Celtics vs Hawks

      1st Quarter

Nice offensive sets so far the good guys in green. Marcus using his body getting to the rim with the and 1 you gotta love it. JB coming home tonight, can he come up with a lights out performance? I sure believe and hope so. One issue we are seeing right now is the Celtics getting out done in the paint. Need to change that, if we are going to be successful tonight.

JBs pace and attack are on point so far tonight. Need to keep this aggressive play going. Lets hope the rest of the team follows suit and gets it in gear. Hawks are a team we lost to earlier this season, tonight is the Return of the Jays (Jedi). Where we use the force necessary to get the W! Isn't basketball just a beautiful game. The sound of the ball being dribbled, a nice crisp pass between teammates and the sweet sound of a nothing but net shot. Awe I Love This Game! Nostalgic moment over on to the second quarter.

     2nd Quarter

Not very pleased, what the H E double hockey sticks happened at the end of the first? You need to learn how to close out the end of quarters. This team on many occasions just let's up. I honestly don't understand at all. My dad who was my coach told me to never take a play off. Let me tell you I never did, wasn't going to catch his wrath on the floor.

We are getting our jocks handed to us. Tonight needs to be the night that we grow as a team. Right now we are getting rolled. The Hawks bench is killing us. Hey Brad get us some quality bench guys. If and when we come back tonight will be the turning of a corner for this team. I fully expect a comeback and win from the guys in Green.

     3rd Quarter

Can we make a run, or do the Hawks have our number? Over the passed few years the Celtics tend to shoot terrible from three vs the Hawks. I just don't get it, hey Ime get this team in gear that's your job! When shots aren't falling go to the hoop! Just drive it fellas!

Scal is not the guy, I loved seeing Scal get into the game back in the day. As the replacement for Tommy, it just ain't working. He tries a little too much to be Tommy, yet in a lot of ways he isn't. Right now we see the Celtics making a nice run to get back into the game!

Plenty of time to make a run!  Down by nine, the Celtics have a prime opportunity to come back and win this game! Play D and move the ball we got this!

     4th Quarter

The fight was there but right now it's a very sad ending. Poor execution has plagued the Celtics. Back to 500 folks, it is what it is but it stinks!  Are we ever going to get this ship on the right path?!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
