Can I get some Gumbo!

Kendrick Perkins does not deserve his Celtics credentials. I'll tell you why.

     1st Quarter

When you play a lesser opponent you run them off the floor! So far tonight gotta love the pace the Celtics are playing with. Coming out after a meltdown vs the Hawks, they are making the Pelicans say you are our daddy! Keep this aggressive play up! Now as the bench enter can they keep up? Because last night the bench was a HUGE disappointment.

How do our avid readers feel about Ime up to this point? How about Brad? It has to be addressed that the Celtics chose to go with a rookie coach and rookie GM. That takes a lot of guts, or maybe some unthoughtful choices.. Please readers talk to us we want to know. With all that said gotta love the start tonight. We deserve a blowout!

     2nd Quarter

With a slowed down pace the Celtics are slowly losing their lead. Come on guys I expect and so do the readers that you grab the Pelicans by the throat and put them to sleep! We need to see more screens and picks set to get guys going to the hoop. How hard is it to get to the hoop when you have JB and JT I'd say coaching plays a role.

Sloppy play is allowing this Pelicans team a chance at making a comeback. JRich to the rescue off of a nice JT pass! JTs passing game has become very solid, not Bird like, but smooth and solid. Tatum brings the hammer to say your run is OVER! Time to send the Pelicans to an early night, by demolishing them!

     3rd Quarter

This has to be said, we need less teams in the NBA!  Some teams just are not worth it. The Pelicans are a joke, if the NBA doesn't contract teams then this team needs to relocate to a place like Seattle where basketball needs to be. Imagine if there were less teams, better product and game of basketball overall.

Has anyone noticed how much different the Celtics play defensively with the Wolverine?! Whenever this defensive dude plays we generally make the right plays and win. He just does all the little things needed to be successful! I'm not willing to trade him, I would however trade draft capital and Romeo for a pass first point guard!

     4th Quarter

Slowly the lead is becoming smaller and smaller. What will the Celtics do to close this game out? Let's hope we see some D and getting to the basket. Can't see another fourth quarter collapse. To many this season!

Both Jays with over thirty points! LEts GO! When we see both studs get over those numbers we win. Now if we get them a bench we will be a tough team to beat! Who else in the East other than the Bucks has a one two like this! Not to many. Not even the Nets they have KD and half a Kyrie and a washed up Harden. With that a nice win for the Green.

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Stauskas had an historic week, scoring 100 points on 57 and 43 point performances in back-to-back games for Grand Rapids. — Adrian Wo
