All bow to the TIMELORD! This is must see Boston Celtics video!!!

When the best Celtics video highlights guy makes a video about one of my new favorite players I feel compelled to write about it. Watch this and you have to think that Robert Williams might make the all star team. #ImSerious

Who knew what we were getting with the 27th pick in the 2018 NBA draft? Robert Williams had been projected to possibly go in the middle of the first round but he slid and slid.  Not usually a great sign. Then he missed his first press conference with the Celts because he overslept, thus giving him the nickname TimeLord.  Last year he played but showed only bits of potential during the few minutes per game he averaged.

But this year.  This year is different.  Rob Williams is a MONSTER! And yet again Danny Ainge looks like a genius and all other GMs look stoopid.  27?  This dude swatting shots into the cheap seats and throwing down dunks with his head above the rim went at pick #27?  Look at the athleticism.  The coordination.  The speed.  The jumping.  The DEFENSE!  LeMarcus Aldridge wants no part of big Rob in the post in that one clip.  Aldridge has been selected to 5 ALL NBA teams and has made 7 all star teams.  But when he has a chance to go 1-1 against Rob he politely declines.  Good decision.

Make no mistake about it, Rob Williams is going to be the starting center on the 2019-2020 NBA champions.  Brad Stevens is bringing him along perfectly; making him compete for minutes.  But after the all-star break, it is gonna be Rob's show.  I like Daniel Theis because he works hard and plays like a solid teammate.  But he cant do what the TIMELORD can!

In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
