After a tough season opener against the Philadelphia 76'ers, Celtics guard Kemba Walker is on a tear with his new team. In the loss to Philly, Kemba managed only 12 points of 4-of-18 from the field and 1-of-6 on 3-pointers, adding two rebounds and two assists. Since then Boston has won four games in a row, with Kemba setting the tone for his teammates while scoring at a high clip.
For the five games, he is averaging 26.2 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 3.8 APG and 1.0 SPG. In the Celtics 104-102 win last night versus the Knicks, Kemba had a line of 33P/6R/5A. So The Boston Celtics start the season with a 4-1 record, and Walker's acquisition by Danny Ainge looks like a good one.
