In my article listing my Top-10 All-Time Celtics, I indicated it was subject to change. Well, here comes the first one. Pat Ram, via Twitter, made a logical, and well presented argument for keeping Dave Cowens and Kevin McHale at their natural positions of center and power forward, respectively. That makes sense. Dave had no problem defending the big centers like Wilt Chamberlain or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Kevin did a fine job at the PF slot.
So here is the altered list, which can still change:
PG - Dennis Johnson, Jo Jo White
SG - John Havlicek, Sam Jones
SF - Larry Bird, Paul Pierce
PF - Kevin Garnett, Kevin McHale
C - Bill Russell, Dave Cowens
I am liking this better already. My thanks to Pat Ram for the great input, and I encourage others to give their views. Cooz is a major ommision, so let's hear from Bob's fans.

Tom, just curious why McHale and his career 7.3 rpg is your bu center despite never once being listed as one, while Cowens and his career 13.6 rpg is a power forward despite only being listed as one for 40 games with the Bucks in ‘82-‘83 out of the 875 he played total? pic.twitter.com/RRgEfe4Ao1

Sorry Tom the list is invalid if Cousy is not #1. There is no argument lol
