Carsen Edwards "looking like a lottery pick", has a shot at being the steal of the draft

The quote in the title about rookie Carsen Edwards "looking like a lottery pick" is from former Celtic, Kendrick Perkins. Kendrick was fairly quiet during his tenure in Boston, but he has been expressing his views on the NBA quite a bit lately, and people are paying attention.



Perk was on the Celtics 2004 Summer League squad that included All Jefferson, Tony Allen, Delonte West and Marcus Banks. Jefferson averaged 18 points per game that summer, and Carsen just topped that in five games, averaging 19.4 PPG on 48% from the field and 47% from 3-point land.


Edwards just looks comfortable and confident out there on the floor. He came to us via a trade with Philadelphia (yes, another one), with Danny Ainge trading the 20th pick, which turned out to be Matisse Thybulle, to Philly for the #24 and #33 picks. Thybulle had a decent Summer League, averaging 11.6 PPG on 43% shooting, in addition to 3.8 RPG, but knowing it is too early to make predictions, Edwards could end up being the steal of the draft taken at #33 in the second round.     Danny got both Grant Edwards and Carsen Edwards from Philly for the right to draft Matisse Thybulle. After getting both Jayson Tatum and Romeo Langford for the right to draft Markelle Fulz, would anyone believe that Philly would be ready to made such a 'deal' with Danny again so quickly?

    You are light years ahead of me on computer savvy. One of these days I will go into depth on Justin Quinn going through hell tutoring me. As you know, I have written on Danny being super-active on draft night. He works deals before the other party quite understands what is going on. I am excited about pre-season. Hopefully, I am right on what I see. I love this crew. Are they Title-bound? I would be surprised. But I think we will like this season.

A sorrowful farewell to Kitty's Restaurant (North Reading, MA) as a family tradition

  Time to say "Goodbye" to Kitty's Restaurant - my   family's destination and tradition for six generations and more than 80 years. My memories of Kitty's go back to the early-1950's .
