C's cut down by the Nets!

Tonight on his birthday we take an extra in depth look at JTs overall game tonight. Along with quarter recaps.

Jayson Tatum ☘️🏀🍀

Love the way JT is establishing himself on the glass. You have to applaud your star that wants to get down and dirty and rebound the rock. The greats always want to be good at everything! JT pulls up off the dribble and goes nothing but net. JT has been attacking, which is my favorite JT!

The only flaws I see in JTs game are, on occasion too many missed threes and too many turnovers.

JT drives and gets to the rim, he was hit but just kept going! Go get yourself that basket stud! JT goes off glass as he catches the pass inside. He should live in the post. Kobe and Michael both did! The greats know where their bread is buttered. Get those old tapes out and watch both of em JT.

The birthday boy gets the rock and brings down the house with a one handed JAM! Personally I'm loving the color of his kicks tonight. JTs shoe game has been elite! When you are part of the Jordan Brand, you better be elite on all fronts.

JT with the left handed lay in off glass, liked it so much he did it again! Keep going to the cup JT! JT opens the second half getting to his left again. JT finds Rob on the Lob exhibiting his great court sense. Love when he's distributing the rock.

JT hasn't been himself in this second half. Pretty disappointing despite some good moments tonight.

1st Quarter Recap...

C's are running off the defensive stop and getting to the rim! This should be the mentality tonight against this Nets team. C's are establishing themselves early tonight. They are dictating the pace on both ends of the floor.

JB never ceases to amaze me on that pull up jumper! He so lightning quick off the dribble and makes those shots look easy peasy! JB is also looking like a masked menace on D, stealing the rock from the Nets. Celtics ball movement is looking elite as Al drains a corner three. That's efficient basketball right there!

Jaylen Brown continues to be a rim rocking savant! Getting inside and bringing the one handed hammer! BOOM! I love that aggression getting easy dunks! His game and improvement continues to amaze and please me as a Celtics fan. JB pulls up and drains a beautiful three pointer!

Nets aren't hitting very many shots right now, but the C's aren't making it easy for them. Celtics defense has been on point early in this game. I absolutely love defense and this warms my heart tonight. The more the Celtics put the work in on D the better their offense looks. When you put total effort out there you get great results.

Tonight feels like a Gino night already! I feel like I'm watching the Globe Trotters against the Washington Generals. If they keep this up, they can rest guys early and prepare for the Knicks and enact some revenge on Sunday.

A lopsided first has the Celtics in the driver seat going forward. These are the kind of starts you want out of the fellas. You have a lesser opponent, and you need to treat them like that!

2nd Quarter Recap...

Sam I am has hit two corner threes tonight. One in the first and now one in the second. The more he plays with JT, the better he looks. JT tends to find him in the right spots. Which are in that corner for wide open threes.

C's need to reign in the threes and get to the rim. The lead is down to nineteen, and you don't want to allow the Nets back into the game. Put your foot on their throats and say buh bye!

JB continues to show why he's a bad man, having no fear as he gets to the rim. Followed by a in yo face three pointer! These Nets are not giving up tonight as the lead is down to eighteen. It looks and feels like JB is amped up and ready to go all out. On both ends of the floor he's looked pretty damn good.

The way these Celtics are finishing off this second quarter is a sloppy mess....

You can't be so complacent, even with a lead.. These Nets are here to fight, as the lead has been significantly reduced.

3rd Quarter Recap...

The expectation from my perspective, is to come out and blow their doors off for good. We had a good third vs the Cavs. Need a similar one tonight! Sometimes third quarters have been very difficult for the C's.

Sloppy start, but the C's finally score. The D hasn't been bad, but wake the freak up guys. What a major disappointment right now with the lack of energy, not only these players but this crowd.

Marcus gets hit with a T on the bench. Just like that the game is a one point lead. Disgusting! You can't play like this as one of the best teams in the league. Who will lead this team out of the doldrums? They need to get back to moving the ball, and actually playing defense.

JB with another huge jam! Maybe that will bring the energy. Not sure if this team has it tonight...

4th Quarter Recap...

Time to man up, if not you deserve to lose. This team has no heart or balls tonight. They really have shown nothing of value since that first quarter.

I've been disappointed a few times this season, and this takes the cake. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

Unacceptable loss once again from this team.

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
