Malcolm Brogdon is a lunch pail kinda guy.

A statement from my old man from eleven years ago popped up and it made me think of this dude!

To me MB fits this and he realizes this team also fits this. In my basketball heart of hearts I feel this team gets what winning Boston means.

Malcolm Brogdon played with Giannis, so he knows what greatness is and what it takes to win. Those Bucks teams had that lunch pail mentality. To a certain extent so did the Pacers teams he was on. He's built as a player that isn't afraid to get down and dirty on D. On offense he's a gritty player who can get to the rack in the blink of an eye.

He's built as a lunch pail player yet there is a smoothness to it. He reminds me of DJ, the ultimate lunch pail guy. DJ was Larry Birds favorite teammate as I recall. I wonder if the Jays will see MB as that guy going forward. Even when MB has an off game he still contributes to this team. He's very mature out there and just does what's needed.

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game.
