Chicago Comes To Town! Celtics look for revenge!

Revenge of the C's?! Let's hope they run the Bulls off the floor!

 1st Quarter ☘️

Early on we are seeing a team effort to grab the boards. Last time we played Chicago they dominated on the boards. A lost art in basketball is cutting, when the C's cut they are damn good at it! It should be used more often in the C's offense.

When did guys stop following their shots? I was always taught to follow your shot no matter what! Imagine if more guys did, the amount of second chance points they could accrue would be exponential.

C's are running off misses and getting down the floor. Don't let the Bulls set their D, run, run, run! The C's need to exploit the Bulls weaknesses by running them off the floor.

Love seeing JB making passes after penetrating into the D. Getting a wide open three for JT! The Bulls are here to play tonight, the C's need to match their energy. Tonight's start seems sluggish by the C's, let's amp it guys!

These black Bulls uniforms don't hold the same cache as they did when Jordan was rocking them. DeMar is once again killing the C's. Drawing phantom fouls per usual.

The Bulls passing is giving the C's issues tonight. Need to see better defensive pressure and intensity. Celtics trail 31-26 after the first.

2nd Quarter 🍀🍀

Sam Hauser opens the second with a rainbow three! That's why he's out there, to make an impact. Malcolm Brogdon has been using his body to get layups, with the and ones a few times. He's a huge asset off the bench, I love watching him play! His skill set and ability is just solid, solid as a rock!

Malcolm Brogdon with the great handles getting to the rack again! He's very crafty and efficient with his dribble. He's not flashy, but very workman like out there. We have a Bill Belichick and Brad Stevens sighting! Wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall up there! MB is making Caruso look lost out there.

Demar just flopped like a dead fish! Get up you horrible actor! These refs fall for anything. DWhite gets called for a phantom foul. These refs are getting to me already!

JB with a great cut off an excellent pass by the Wolverine. Like I said earlier cutting in basketball is a lost are that the C's are finding! Celtics are destroying the Bulls in the paint so far. Celtics lead at the half 63-57.

3rd Quarter ☘️☘️☘️

JT with the skills, getting to the rack for the and one! Things are looking stagnant right now. C's can't allow the lead to disappear, which tends to happen in third quarters. Time to right the ship and build this lead!

Anyone else hear that Mike Gorman may be done after next year?? Label me as being sad when that day comes. He and Tommy have been the voice of the Celtics my whole life. Losing Tommy was a blow to the heart. As you readers know Scal annoys me sometimes, most of the time!

C's are doing what needs to be done, on both ends. JT is doing it all! Rebounding and passing the rock with ease! Yet another PHANTOM CALL ON DWhite, DeMar gets calls like no one else.

C's are jacking up too many threes for my liking. Take it to the rack, good things occur when you do! Just like that Al cuts, gets the ball and scores! Bulls have made a run and a much needed timeout by Coach Mazz.

C's need to finish strong, someone needs to put Caruso on a poster. OH MY GOODNESS JB just put Vucevic on a poster! Its shaping up to be another tight game on a Friday night.

EXPLAIN THIS TO ME DEMAR TRAVELS AND GETS A FOUL CALL?!? COME ON! These refs are a joke! MB just manned up and got yet another layup. Celtics lead 93-87.

4th Quarter 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Let's keep the ball moving, and run dang it! Bring it home tonight! Sam I am Hauser for THREEEEEEEEE! Love the ball movement! Keep it rolling! Basketball is a beautiful game when you do all the little things. Extra passes, cutting, defending and rebounding.

Batman with emphatic two handed DUNK! Good things happen when you attack the rim! C's are starting to assert their will and build the lead! Give a lot of credit to the bench tonight, they have played well.

Al has looked more himself tonight, doing a little bit of everything. He's like that all spice you cook with. Gives ya an array of flavors!

Once again the Bulls are creeping back into the game. Timeout by the C's, let's hope they are ready to close this out! Malcolm Brogdon is the SMOOTH OPERATOR! Scoring off some nifty footwork!

Difference in tonight's game vs the last time we played the Bulls, our bench came to ball! Nice to see the improvement and growth given what occured last time. A sign of a team and coaching staff doing their job!

The lead is only two, Not Anymore! DWhite for THREEEEEEEEE! Huge shot! Great job by JB drawing two defenders leaving DWhite wide open. The Wolverine just earned a Tommy point, keeping the ball alive for JT to grab the loose ball! Celtics win 123-119!

Bleed Green! Celtic Pride!

Did the Celtics Kevin McHale really have a wingspan of 8-feet?

According to many sources, the Celtics Kevin McHale did indeed have an estimated wingspan of 8-feet. One of those sources is Wikipedia, as seen below: Kevin McHale American basketball player DescriptionKevin Edward McHale is an American retired basketball player who played his entire professional career for the Boston Celtics. He is a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and is regarded as one of the best power forwards of all time. He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. In defense of Marcus Smart

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game . And he let loose verbally at the closest target - an NBA official. Wilt Chamberlain did a similar act versus referee, Earl Strom when Wilt was having his usual tortuous time at the free throw line (per Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith): ''He was in one of those 1-for-13s,'' recalls referee Earl Strom. ''Nothing was getting close. S
