Grant "The Man" Williams in Preseason Game 2 vs. Raptors

Some random Celtics thoughts from Celtics 113-111 victory over the Raptors.

Refs suck even in preseason, Tatum goes to hoop no call, Drajic gets barely hit it's a foul! When will the scales ever be equaled out with calls for the Green? Never!

Romeo is building confidence! Will he stay healthy, does his impact carry into the regular season?

Marcus can drive, shoot and get to the hoop! He can also get the rock where it needs to be. A Junior DJ in the making?

Grant can do it all! Threes! Drives! Defense! It's preseason so let's see how he carries everything into the regular season.

So far no Jaylen - no hierarchy? JT has to assume that leadership role on the floor without the other half to the Dynamic Duo

Al is back and it feels so good to be reunited! We have missed everything you do Al. The Jedi Master to this Celtics team.

Payton chipped in with 11 and 5. If he bumps that up he will be one of the first calls off the bench.

Another slow start in the second quarter. There are times when this team falls asleep offensively, they need to break that rutt.

Josh Richardson brings a tough hard working mentality, Now we need some of the offense he used to kills us with.

Can Imes switching on every play work defensively? I'm not quite sold on it yet but it's better than Brad's calculus type D from his tenure as couch.

We are only two games in but I like the fight in this team. We need hungry Dawgs out there fighting like it's their last meal!

Nik Stauskas adds "shooting with size" voiced by Brad Stevens

As a 6'6" shooting guard, 28-year-old Nik Stauskas adds that shooting with size sorely needed by the Boston Celtics. Drafted 8th-overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2014, Stauskas has bounced around to various teams since then. Nik Stauskas' deal with the Boston Celtics includes non-guaranteed salary for the second season in 2022-23, a source tells @celticsblog . — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) March 4, 2022 Nik has never averaged more than 9.5 points per game in the NBA, but Boston is most likely counting on his production for Grand Rapids in the G League as the incentive to sign him. In 17 games thus far, he has averaged 24.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 4.8 APG - while shooting 50% on field goals and 45% on treys. Nik Stauskas is signing a two-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Stauskas had an historic week, scoring 100 points on 57 and 43 point performances in back-to-back games for Grand Rapids. — Adrian Wo
