JoJo White, Celtics Iron Man

JoJo White the iron man of the Boston Celtics. Another under-rated Celtics player in their long history. An all time Celtics player who played the game the right way with class and excellence.

JoJo was a 2 time NBA champion in both 74 and 76. He was instrumental in both runs and was validated by winning the Finals MVP in 76. He made the all rookie team when he entered the NBA. He was a seven time All Star. His number 10 hangs in the rafters where it belongs! He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015 and ask any Celtics fan. It was long overdue!

He was part of the 68 Olympic team. Did you know he served in the Marine Corps?! Talk about a tough individual. He played 82 games for 5 straight years - a total of 488 consecutive games for the Celtics. He was one of sports first Iron men. Little know fact about JoJo: He was in two movies. He was in the 1980s film Inside Move and he was also in the The Game Plan in 2007. In 2012 JoJo started a foundation for Brain Cancer research. Talk about a remarkable man.

JoJo White not only left his impact on the game of basketball but on the world as well. A true team player who was damn good in his own right. Imagine having a player like JoJo White on today's Celtics team?!

Let me make it clear first of all that I am totally against making a threat of any kind that even hints at harming, or certainly killing, another human being. Marcus Smart was wrong in doing so in the Celtics loss to the tanking Oklahoma City Thunder , and he deserved the one-game suspension. But to be honest, part of me loved that it occurred. . This type of thing can happen when a player gets to a point "beyond frustration" and is having a bad game. Marcus and his teammates have been under-performing generally - were in the process of losing to a pathetic-and-tanking Thunder team - and Smart was having a bad game .
